About The Lakehouse

The Lakehouse is a full-service catering company, restaurant and event venue located in Mandeville, Louisiana, just 30 miles north of New Orleans. Housed in the historic Bechac House built in the 1830’s and overlooking Lake Pontchartrain, we offer a unique setting for locals and visitors to enjoy upscale dining and memorable events. The Lakehouse is the perfect spot for meetings, corporate functions, fundraisers, rehearsal dinners, weddings and other events. 
 

Offering lunch and dinner at the restaurant Tuesday thru Sunday, we invite you to come in to experience our culinary revival and breathtaking lake views. 


The Lakehouse also offers full-service catering throughout South Louisiana. Whether catering for on-site or off-site events, film production or disaster relief, we offer unique and traditional cuisines to suit any taste or budget. With a fleet of catering equipment and transportation, we are equipped to feed up to 20,000 people in a single day.
