Cayman Sinclair

Proprietor Cayman Sinclair
With a passion for people and food, it only made sense that after 25 years in the restaurant industry Cayman Sinclair would open his own restaurant and catering venue - The Lakehouse. His career includes having worked for Kenny LaCour and Kim Kringlie at Dakota Restaurant as well as having partnered with his brothers in opening and running Louisiana Grill.

Since 2009 when The Lakehouse opened, Cayman has revived an historic Old Mandeville building, what was once Bechac's Restaurant, and built a strong restaurant and catering team as well as a state of the art collection of catering equipment. All of these things which have helped to further develop his catering audience such as the movie and festival industries in addition to disaster relief efforts - where he has prepared up to 20,000 meals a day.

Cayman continues to grow his catering business at home in Louisiana and across the country, all while still making sure to make it a priority to connect with clients and have a cheers at The Lakehouse.
